We are pleased to announce the return of one of Leicesters finest bands, The Boobytraps are coming to the field again, on the 11th of August. The ‘Traps’ have played main stage headline slots at Glastonbudget Tribute & New Act Festival 2010 & 2011 with support to bands such as Detroit Social Club, Little Man Tate’s John Windle & fellow Leicester band & now friends, The Screening.

The Dambusters are a three piece band from Leicestershire that have been together now for over a year.

They are a trio of friends who have known each other from childhood, growing into the musicians they are today.

The sound is hard to describe but is a mix bag between rock, pop, surf and grunge.

Its hard not to get their catchy pop melodies stuck in your head with classics like “Hello Me Mo Mo” and “Sgt Doggles”.

Currently unsigned but always looking for that big break.

Jonezy is 22 years old. He is a Rap Artist from Loughborough and what he writes about is, having a good time, poverty, life, true stories or anything that has a meaning or is cool. He grew up around music listening to mainly Eminem and 2pac all the time. He was inspired back when he was 13 to start writing rap songs. This lasted a year and by the age of 14, Jonezy gave up on rap music. By the age of 19, Jonezy was starting to write songs in his spare time in which popped out his first album “My way of Music” back in 2010. Currently working on his second album due for release later this year (Q4, 2012), Jonezy is back, prepared. More energy than ever before. Ellen, Ant and Dave also known as ‘Egg Ladies’ are a 3 piece band putting acoustic numbers together, some written solely by Ant and others borrowed from other artists.

The duo is an eclectic mix of old and new songs from different genres and lifestyles but all with catchy melodies and played with feeling.

Ellen sings with a sweet naivety, Ant plays the guitar like he was born to do and Dave brings the band together with his harmonies.

They love what they do and go along the premise that music, along with having a good time is their passion, and so put the two together and you get ‘Egg Ladies’ – the name which comes from memories of holidays past.

Come, see us, and put a smile on your face, sometimes it’s not all about the cheese and its not all about the heavy metal, but it’s about the in-between and having a great time.
Although we’re acoustic, We most defiantly are of the upbeat acoustic variety. Our songs are catchy and fun.
